《当代华语青春电影研究（1978-2018）》通过追溯1978年以来华语青春电影的产生、发展，考察电影与电影之外部“语境”的关系，以“规训”和“认同”为理论框架统括当代华语青春电影的空间构设与主题呈现，探询其中所展现的现代性主体之建构策略，呈现当代华语青春电影在不同地区的碰撞、交流以及逐步汇聚合流的过程，以期从现代性的角度提炼一种基于中国本土讲述的、当代华语青春电影的特质，进而对华语青春电影正在发生的变化、将要面对的问题予以尽量全面、深入的理论展望。
By tracing the emergence and development of Chinese youth films since 1978, "Research on Contemporary Chinese Youth Films (1978-2018)" examines the relationship between film and the external "context" of film, takes "discipline" and "identity" as the theoretical framework to summarize the spatial construction and theme presentation of contemporary Chinese youth films, explores the construction strategy of the subject of modernity displayed therein, and presents the process of collision, communication and gradual convergence and convergence of contemporary Chinese youth films in different regions.
