This book is a collection of essays that comprehensively study traditional Chinese scholarship from the perspectives of literature, history and philosophy. In terms of literature, the author expounds the characteristics of poetry and fiction in the early and middle period of Chinese literature, the relationship between medieval metaphysical social thought and literature, and the influence of Buddhism on medieval literary forms from a unique perspective.
