城镇化是人类经济社会发展的自然历史过程，城镇化发展是优化资源配罝、调整经济结构、促进经济与社会协调发展的重要选择。短短70年的时间，新中国由一个全域性贫穷国家成为世界第二大经济体，中国经济发展所取得举世瞩目的成绩与国家在各个历史阶段审时度势地推进工业化、城镇化、现代化、信息化直接相关。中国地域广阔、地形复杂、地貌多样，城镇化发展过程中创造出多种不同类型的推进模式。云南省作为集“边疆、民族、山区、贫困”四位一体的省份，依托山地的独特优势探索出“山地城镇化”模式，由此掀起了山区新型城镇化发展的理论创造与实践创新。立足云南山地城镇化的探索，从理论层面建构山区特色城镇化的研究范式，从实践层面剖析云南山地城镇建设的基本模式，为当代中国山区特色城镇化发展提供理论基础。

Urbanization is a natural historical process of human economic and social development, and urbanization development is an important choice for optimizing resource allocation, adjusting economic structure, and promoting coordinated economic and social development. In just 70 years, New China has grown from a global poor country to the world's second largest economy, and the remarkable achievements of China's economic development are directly related to the country's timely promotion of industrialization, urbanization, modernization and informatization in various historical stages. China's vast territory, complex terrain and diverse geomorphology have created many different types of promotion modes in the process of urbanization development. As a province integrating "frontier, ethnic, mountainous and poor", Yunnan Province has explored the "mountain urbanization" model by relying on the unique advantages of mountainous areas, thus setting off theoretical creation and practical innovation of new-type urbanization development in mountainous areas. Based on the exploration of mountain urbanization in Yunnan, this paper constructs a research paradigm of urbanization with mountain characteristics from the theoretical level, analyzes the basic mode of mountain town construction in Yunnan from the practical level, and provides a theoretical basis for the development of urbanization with mountain characteristics in contemporary China.（AI翻译）
