Chinese intellectual history is the crystallization of China's ancient wisdom, a core component of Chinese traditional culture, and an important spiritual nourishment for ideological innovation needed for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. Sponsored by the Institute of Chinese Thought and Culture of Northwest University, this book collects the academic research results of many famous scholars in many universities in China, mainly discussing the theories and methods of Chinese intellectual history research, intellectual historical trends and schools, thinkers and classical studies, and the teaching of Chinese intellectual history. This book contains nearly 20 research on the history of ideas, many of which are derived from the phased results of the National Social Science Foundation project, and Mr. Zhang Yizhi, an expert in the history of Chinese thought, was specially invited to write the frontispiece "The Profound Historical Background of Cultural Self-confidence".
