This is the first work in China to comprehensively sort out, summarize and analyze the development process, basic status, existing problems and future picture of various research fields of journalism and communication since the founding of the People's Republic of China 70 years ago. The book is divided into three parts and sixteen chapters, which not only examine the main parts of journalism and communication research, but also comment on the research progress of some sub-disciplines, and describe the development of journalism and communication organizations.
