本书通过借鉴现有成果和深入挖掘《共产党宣言》在中国传播史相关文献，深入系统地对1930年至1949年6个全译本的形成、版本变化及其历史价值进行研究。首先，着眼于四个历史时期的传播史这条主线来深入研究《共产党宣言》在中国传播的历史过程。其次，概括提炼出1920年陈望道译本的生成、历史意义，深入分析1930年至1949年间《共产党宣言》译本中译词、译句的变化，归纳出早期马克思主义在中国的传播规律。最后，总结《共产党宣言》传播对中国历史的影响及价值。该著作突出传播史研究中以译本分析为基础，通过译本之间的版本比较为研究模式，并展望后面的继续研究。
By drawing on existing achievements and digging deep into the relevant documents on the history of the dissemination of the Communist Manifesto in China, this book deeply and systematically studies the formation, version changes and historical value of the six complete translations from 1930 to 1949. First, we will focus on the main line of communication history in four historical periods to deeply study the historical process of the dissemination of the Communist Manifesto in China. Secondly, it summarizes and extracts the genesis and historical significance of Chen Wangdao's translation in 1920, analyzes the changes in the translated words and sentences in the translation of the Communist Manifesto between 1930 and 1949, and summarizes the law of the spread of early Marxism in China. Finally, it summarizes the impact and value of the dissemination of the Communist Manifesto on Chinese history.
