本书从备受关注的法官“离职潮”入手，通过事例、数据分析法官“离职潮”的特征、影响和原因，并通过对2660名法官的调查问卷，对中国法官生存状况进行白描式地分析，并提出中外法官身份地位存在巨大的反差，归根结底与各国对法官的职业保障存在天壤之别有关。本书分别从立法规范、实证分析、制度比较、理论探讨、对策建议等五部分对法官保障制度进行深入地分析。最后，提出完善法官保障制度、修改相关法律的立法建议。

This is not only a practical work that reflects the current situation of judges in China, but also a theoretical book that discusses the protection system of judges in China. Starting from the much-watched "wave of resignation" of judges, this book analyzes the characteristics, impact and causes of judges' "resignation" through case studies and data, and analyzes the living conditions of Chinese judges through a questionnaire of 2,660 judges, and proposes that there is a huge contrast between the status of Chinese and foreign judges, which in the final analysis is related to the drastic difference between the professional security of judges in various countries. This book provides an in-depth analysis of the judge's safeguard system from five parts: legislative norms, empirical analysis, system comparison, theoretical discussion, and countermeasure suggestions.
