湖州市自古以来素有“丝绸之府”“鱼米之乡”“文化之邦”的美誉，是“两山”理念的诞生地，美丽乡村建设的发源地，已经率先迈入基本实现农业现代化的阶段。本书是湖州市农办、湖州市（湖州师范学院）农村发展研究院组织撰写的年度发展报告（项目编号：SNF18001），今年的主题是“乡村振兴战略选择及实践探索”。本书以习近平“三农”思想为指导，深入分析了湖州市打造实施乡村振兴战略示范区的战略选择，从农业现代化建设、新时代美丽乡村建设、人文乡村建设、乡村有效治理、乡村居民生活富裕等方面对湖州市的实践进行了全方位、多角度地研究和探讨，并收集整理了湖州市“三农”数据。本书对乡村振兴的理论研究具有一定的借鉴意义，对决策部门认识实施乡村振兴战略、把握农业农村现代化建设的重点难点、思考和制定乡村振兴战略具有一定的参考价值。
