This book selects more than 20 typical theories in public management, and conducts an in-depth and detailed analysis. The book consists of the first part, "Public Policy and the Theory of Institutionalism" and the second part, "Public Administration and Government Governance Theory". The first part mainly includes the theory of time difference, the theory of order and chaos, the policy dilemma theory and the theory of historical institutionalism, examining the practical and constructive significance of theory in the process of policy and institution; the second part mainly includes the public trust theory, the theory of governance and good governance, the theory of postmodernism, and the theory of international administration, examining the practical and directional significance of theory in the process of government governance and administration. Through the study of public policy and administrative theory, the explanation of intrinsic meanings is conducive to a better understanding and application of theories.
