20世纪中国文学“艺术出路”是一个庞大的学术命题，本论著试着抓取文学“艺术出路”这面巨网的几个纽结，通过典型文学个案的全息性勾稽呈展，梳理出一个并非面面俱到的探索性答案。论著共分为四章，分别以丰满的文学个例剖解方式深入诠释了四对文学命题元素，即“神秘”与“神圣”、“惨剧”与“悲剧”、“生活”与“生命”以及批评引路方向上的“误读”与“正解”。作为“艺术出路”的一个导引性归途，著者认为20世纪中国文学要实现一个内涵式的接续发展，只有从“神秘”走向“神圣”、从“惨剧”走向“悲剧”、从“生活”走向“生命”、从“误读”走向“正解”，才可能重续芹藻荣光，正扬文学贵气。

The "artistic outlet" of Chinese literature in the 20th century is a huge academic proposition, and this treatise attempts to grasp several knots of the huge web of literary "artistic outlets", and through the holographic outline of typical literary cases, sort out an exploratory answer that is not exhaustive.
