2018 marks the 40th anniversary of China's reform and opening up, and coincides with the 40th anniversary of the resumption of Economic Research. Economic Research has witnessed the majestic historical picture of China's reform and opening up, and witnessed the formation and development of socialist economic theory with Chinese characteristics. In the past 40 years, most of the economic propositions that have important theoretical value in China and need to be explored urgently in practice have been first published in Economic Research. In order to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the resumption of Economic Research, and to comprehensively review and summarize the brilliant achievements of China's reform and opening up economic theory innovation and development in the past 40 years, this collection of papers is hereby published.
