该书是华中师范大学曹阳主持的国家哲学社会科学重大课题“具有中国特色的农业生产组织现代化研究”的最终研究成果。该书最重要的理论创新就是从农民“自由地实现自由”，或者说，从提升农民实现“实质性自由”和“可行能力”的基点，构建了一个认识当代中国农业生产组织现代化的理论框架。又或者说，研究视角的创新，使“组织与自由”这一主线贯穿于全书始终，得出一些主要的理论观点与结论，并提出了一些重要的政策建议。

This book is the final research result of the major national philosophy and social science project "Research on the Modernization of Agricultural Production Organization with Chinese Characteristics" chaired by Cao Yang of Central China Normal University. The most important theoretical innovation of the book is to construct a theoretical framework for understanding the modernization of agricultural production organization in contemporary China from the perspective of farmers' "freedom to achieve freedom", or from the basis of improving farmers' "substantial freedom" and "feasible ability". In other words, the innovation of research perspectives has made the main line of "organization and freedom" run through the whole book, drawing some major theoretical views and conclusions, and putting forward some important policy recommendations.（AI翻译）
