本书在普罗普“民间故事形态”研究及相关类型学理论的启发下，将当代动物叙事作为一个叙事学上的类型整体进行考察，探讨其叙事语法与历史根源，论述了当代动物叙事的概念诠释、思想谱系、历史传承、功能形态、深层结构、主述模式以及神话历史根源等，建构起一种以“谓词指涉”为支点，辐射“动物叙事”各个不同类型的新的叙事形态理论系统，使之成为动物叙事研究的普适性方法，达成对当代中国动物叙事文本更为恰当的解释策略。在“人、动物与自然”这一关系中，揭示出人类潜隐的伦理意识与思维理念当中的某个侧面——对自身困惑、不安与危机的解释与拯救的尝试。

Inspired by the research of Propp's "folk tale form" and related typological theories, this book examines contemporary animal narrative as a narrative genre whole, discusses its narrative grammar and historical roots, discusses the conceptual interpretation, ideological genealogy, historical inheritance, functional form, deep structure, main narrative mode and mythological historical roots of contemporary animal narrative, etc., constructs a new narrative form theory system with "predicate referent" as the fulcrum and radiates different types of "animal narrative". It is made a universal method for animal narrative research, and a more appropriate interpretation strategy for contemporary Chinese animal narrative texts is achieved. In the relationship between "man, animal and nature", a certain aspect of human hidden ethical consciousness and thinking concept is revealed-the explanation and rescue of one's own confusion, anxiety and crisis.（AI翻译）
