计划每年出版1期，主要刊登西北农林科技大学农村社会研究中心研究人员的作品，作品的主要形式是论文，质量要求达到CSSCI收录论文的水平。辑刊初步计划分为两个栏目：关中农村研究和关中学人看当代中国乡村。“关中农村研究”栏目主要刊登西北农林科技大学农村社会研究中心研究人员关于关中及陕西农村研究的作品，主题涉及农民家庭、民间信仰、乡村治理、城镇化等多个研究领域；“关中学人看当代中国乡村”栏目计划刊登西北农林科技大学农村社会研究中心研究人员关于陕西之外全国其它地区农村研究的相关作品或宏观研究的作品，主题涉及农村政治、经济、社会、文化及生态建设等各个领域。
It is planned to publish one issue per year, mainly publishing the works of researchers from the Rural Social Research Center of Northwest A&F University, and the main form of the work is papers, and the quality requirements reach the level of papers indexed by CSSCI. The initial plan of the series is divided into two columns: Guanzhong Rural Studies and Guanzhong People Looking at Contemporary Chinese Villages. The "Guanzhong Rural Studies" column mainly publishes the works of researchers from the Rural Social Research Center of Northwest A&F University on rural research in Guanzhong and Shaanxi, covering various research fields such as peasant families, folk beliefs, rural governance, and urbanization.
