从“解释世界”到“改变世界”，马克思的实践唯物主义实现了从近代理论哲学到现代实践哲学的深刻变革。马克思之后的西方现代哲学从不同视角、以不同方式、在不同程度上诠释着马克思所开启的哲学的实践转向。反对一切脱离实际的形而上学思辨，把对现实生活的关注作为哲学的第一原则，杜威的哲学改造顺应了西方现代哲学实践变革的潮流，这也使得杜威能够与马克思共享实践哲学的基本立场。本书遵循历史与逻辑相统一的原则，采用文献分析法、诠释学方法、知识社会学方法等研究方法，把马克思哲学与杜威哲学置于西方哲学发展的语境中，从本体论、认识论、价值论等不同视角对马克思哲学与杜威哲学的“实践”和“行动”范畴进行多维度的比较分析。

From "explaining the world" to "changing the world", Marx's practical materialism has achieved profound changes from modern theoretical philosophy to modern practical philosophy. Modern Western philosophy after Marx interprets the practical turn of philosophy initiated by Marx from different perspectives, in different ways and to different degrees. Opposed to all metaphysical speculation that is divorced from reality and taking the concern for real life as the first principle of philosophy, Dewey's philosophical transformation conformed to the trend of change in modern Western philosophical practice, which also enabled Dewey to share the basic position of practical philosophy with Marx. This book follows the principle of unity of history and logic, adopts research methods such as literature analysis, hermeneutics, and sociology of knowledge, places Marx's philosophy and Dewey's philosophy in the context of the development of Western philosophy, and conducts a multi-dimensional comparative analysis of the "practice" and "action" categories of Marx's philosophy and Dewey's philosophy from different perspectives such as ontology, epistemology, and axiology.（AI翻译）
