策彦周良（1501-1579）为日本战国时代禅宗（临济宗）僧人。于1537、1547年先后两次被委任为副使及正使赴明。他曾将两次入明经过，逐日写成《初渡记》、《再渡记》，成为日本遣明使的宝贵资料，但迄今中日学者研究者甚少。笔者依据策彦的记录，于2001、2003年，沿京杭大运河作实地考察，并依据史实，把他的事迹与圆仁、成寻及其他历次遣明使的经过，作比较研究，从水运、朝贡、交涉、礼仪、文学、宗教诸方面，作了进一步的阐明。

Tsehiko Shuyoshi (1501-1579) was a Zen (Rinzai Buddhist) monk of the Sengoku period in Japan. In 1537 and 1547, he was appointed deputy and envoy to Ming. He wrote the two passages of entering the Ming Dynasty into "The First Crossing Record" and "The Records of the Second Crossing" day by day, which became valuable materials for the Japanese envoys, but so far few Chinese and Japanese scholars have studied them. Based on Ceyan's records, the author conducted field investigations along the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal in 2001 and 2003, and based on historical facts, compared his deeds with the experiences of Yuanren, Chengxun and other envoys, and further elaborated on water transportation, tribute, negotiation, etiquette, literature, and religion.（AI翻译）
