Guided by the Marxist materialist view of history, from the perspective of regional social history, this book adopts the research methods of literature research, field social investigation, and the combination of micro research and macro research, qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, to comprehensively sort out the basic historical facts of the revolutionary base areas in the south during the agrarian revolution period in solving the people's livelihood problems such as production and life, health and epidemic prevention, culture and education, road transportation, postal communications, and social security. On the basis of sorting out the basic historical facts, this paper makes an objective assessment of the policies, measures and achievements of the Communist Party of China to solve the problems of people's livelihood in base areas. Finally, it reveals the achievements of the Communist Party of China in solving people's livelihood problems for the people, points out the shortcomings therein, summarizes its historical experience, and provides historical reference for the current party and government to solve the current real people's livelihood problems.（AI翻译）
