中国共有资源型城市118座，占全国城市总数的18%，总人口约1.54亿人，GDP约占全国的35%。在118座资源型城市中，有69个城市被确定为资源枯竭型城市。为了实现资源枯竭城市经济与社会的可持续发展，社会保障制度的可持续发展具有至关重要的作用。本书立足于资源枯竭城市社会保障制度的发展，探索制度发展中可能面临的挑战，并分析这些挑战对资源枯竭城市发展的影响，以此提出资源枯竭城市社会保障制度的改革路径。本书的结论能够为资源枯竭城市社会保障制度改革提供政策建议，最终推动资源枯竭城市经济社会转型与可持续发展。
China has a total of 118 resource-based cities, accounting for 18% of the total number of cities in the country, with a total population of about 154 million people and a GDP of about 35% of the country. Of the 118 resource-based cities, 69 were identified as resource-depleting cities. In order to achieve sustainable economic and social development in resource-depleted cities, the sustainable development of social security systems plays a crucial role. Based on the development of social security system in resource-depleted cities, this book explores the possible challenges in the development of the system, analyzes the impact of these challenges on the development of resource-depleted cities, and proposes a reform path for the social security system in resource-depleted cities. The conclusions of this book can provide policy suggestions for the reform of social security system in resource-depleted cities, and ultimately promote the economic and social transformation and sustainable development of resource-depleted cities.（AI翻译）
